One of the ways libraries respond to identified community needs is to adjust staffing plans to better support them. For example, if a library's community members have generally advanced technology skills, the library may need to ensure that staff are capable of assisting with more advanced technology topics; a library may need to ensure they have staff who can communicate with non-English speaking populations in their community; or if technology services are in high demand they may need to reassign staff from lesser used departments.
