3.3  |  The library offers access to education testing preparation (e.g., SAT, GRE, GMAT, TOEFL) through its website and/or educational testing software

Graduating from high school or applying for college and graduate school usually requires taking at least one educational test, most of which are now offered only online. Preparing for these tests requires access to the most current preparation materials as well as the skill to take them online. Online services for educational testing preparation are an effective way to both provide learners with relevant materials as well as help them learn to take the tests in an online environment. Quality educational testing software and services allow users to save their work, recieve real-time feedback, and track progress. Libraries that meet the criteria for this indicator provide these types career testing and preparation tools through their websites or software products available for check-out or accessed on public computers. Services such as Learning Express Tests are examples of these types of web-based services that fulfill this criteria. Career testing preparation books with CD-ROMS that do not allow users to save their work do not meet this critera.
